Testimonials from Schools
Dunalley Primary School
We would like to thank the Chi Wai Black Belt Academy who came to Dunalley Primary School to provide a five-week enrichment programme for our 6 and 7 year olds. The children thought the programme was fantastic and they learned a great deal in a very short time. The academy has also supported us in our anti bullying week by providing us with bookmarks reminding the children what to do if they are being bullied. We were so impressed that we have asked them to come back and do some sessions with our older children and are happy to welcome the academy to school for classes for the general public on a Wednesday evening.

Dear Sifu,

Lily - It was excellent.
Molly - I liked it very much.
Chloe - I thought it was good.
Matthew - I thought it was really good but the sit-ups were hard.
Courtney - I really really do like it.
Alex - I don't know how to do push-ups, but it was really good and I want to get my yellow belt.
Emma - I like it, it helped me build confidence.
Leanne - It was really good to learn all the skills in Kung-Fu. I want to do it again.
Matthew - It was fun and I would recommend it to others, because it's a good way to keep fit and healthy.

St Thomas More Catholic Primary
The Chi Wai Academy organised and ran a five-week after-school club during term 4 of this year. The club was offered on a completely free basis and provided pupils with the opportunity to experience this particular brand of martial arts.
I was assured that the ethos of the organisation was based upon respect and that the group had a proven track record of working with young people to develop their self-esteem. These claims were very much reinforced by the work that was carried out with our pupils.
The club proved to be very popular with pupils and demand for places was high. The sessions were well structured, fun and confidently delivered. All the children very much enjoyed the experience and a number have subsequently joined as full members.
Feedback from parents was excellent and they very much enjoyed the end of unit demonstration that was organised to allow the children to show off their new skills.
I would heartily recommend Chi Wai to other primary schools.

Dear Lee
I am writing to let you know how much the children of Whaddon Primary School enjoyed the recent Chi Wai club you ran at my school.
During the 6 sessions the pupils learnt self-respect and various moves which enabled all of them to achieve a white belt.
The pupils were keen to attend and the highlight of the sessions was the presentation of the much deserved White Belt.
I would be very happy to have further Chi Wai club events in the school and look forward to working with you in the future.
Thank you again for giving up your time to work with my children they certainly benefited from the experience.
Yours sincerely
